Gladwyne Corner Cafe offers a variety of items from local well known food sources. These food items are neighborhood favorites from sources such as the Bakery House, Rockland Bakery, and Au Fournil. Our coffee comes to us from La Colombe as a premium coffee that can be made into a number of different types of drinks that can be enjoyed by any coffee drinker. New items will be added over time, as we continue to expand our menu based on what we feel are the most quality options for our customers.

We pull all espresso shots as full shots (doubles), although some customers may wish for a half shot (single). We serve full shots in Gibraltar glasses and half shots in demitasse cups. Ensure that your espresso cup has been preheated on top of the machine.

An Americano is similar in taste to drip coffee, but is made with a full shot of espresso and hot water.

A macchiato is an espresso with a "marking" of milk. We add a bit of textured milk (like the frothy part of a cappuccino) to an espresso, filling a Gibraltar glass 3/4s of the way full.

A cortado is served in the same cup as the macchiato, but filled to the top and with wetter milk (like a latte). This drink is typically served slightly cooler than usual, at around 130 degrees.

We serve cappuccinos in a traditional size at La Colombe, with a distinct layer of foam. If you take a spoon and and push back the foam, it should form a peak. It can be served with latte art or a marbled pattern.

Our lattes are served with a full shot of espresso and steamed milk with a thin layer of micro foam on top, completed with a latte art design. It should have less foam than a cappuccino.

Our mochas are made with unsweetened chocolate, which has a distinct bittersweet flavor. Mochas come unsweetened and we invite you to sweeten them to your own taste.
